New version
German tax authorities published a new productive version of the ERiC libraries on November 25th, 2021. Supplemented by a patch on December 9th, 2021.
In order to transfer data through the ELSTER API in 2022, three relevant adjustments are necessary:
- When sending, the so called crypto parameter must be set correctly.
- The XML data structure has to be adapted because multiple data types use a new scheme (e.g. EÜR 2021, FEIN 2021). Nevertheless the old structure needs to be used for earlier periods.
- Libraries have to be replaced because the necessary forms (together with the ERiC libraries in version 35) have been published for assessments period 2021 and reporting periods 2022.
In addition, a special case should be taken into account for the VAT return 2022 due to a late change in the law (more in ELSTER ERiC News #17). The special case is not expected to be implemented correctly in the ERiC libraries until February 2022.
The solution from Recht logisch already takes into account the necessary changes, the correct setting of the crypto parameter, supports the new periods and automatically uses the correct scheme for the respective period. In addition, the correct VAT rate for field 80 of the VAT return 2022 is taken into account, so the user is solely warned in case of an actual error.
For the VAT return and EC Sales List, the adjustments should be made by the end of January 2022 at the latest so that they can be transmitted from the beginning of February 2022. For declarations and the income statement (EÜR), the update should take place before the first productive transmission for the assessment period 2021.
